Question

Shopping Bag in Sidebar

I'm using the Product Browser Widget Code for the products and I have placed the bag in the sidebar. I also want to use the Categories Tabs Widget Code in order to get the category tabs but when I insert the code before the Product Browser Widget Code, the bag gets moved out of the sidebar and lands on top of my products. How can I get tabs and still keep the bag in the sidebar?

What integration code do you use to insert the bag in the sidebar?

2. Bag Widget Code (recommended). I put it in a Wordpress text widget in the sidebar.

Is there a better way to get it in the sidebar?

Yes. You need to remove the ,"layout=attachToCategories" text from the code.

Hi,

I'm using the WordPress plugin and when I edited the plugin to remove the ,"layout=attachToCategories" code the shopping bag simply moved from the right hand end of the categories to a fixed position above the categories but at the left hand side.

I want it removed altogether so I can use the floating option - how do I prevent it from appearing in the fixed position above the categories as well as covering the categories at the right hand end?

Thank you,

Martin.

As per this article in our knowledge base, the absence of the layout parameter in the minicart code maps to the fixed mode, where the minicart is simply inserted in place of its code and does not float or attach to anything. Floating mode is set with the "layout=floating", so you would rather want to use this layout parameter in your code.
