Hello,

We are getting in contact on behalf of a client for whom we have developed an Adobe Muse website. You can see the shopfront here;

We are having problems improving the SEO of the shop - the product pages in particular. Each product has a title and Meta Description, however even specific Google searches aren't picking up the product or shop pages. Could you please advise a way to improve the current SEO?

I've checked how the store is indexed by Google using this query:

site:http://www.burningblueaviationgifts.com/

I can see several product pages there, see the screenshot:



That means that Google can see your store and product pages. There are no technical issues preventing that.

A good way to let Google 'know' about your website pages is to submit a sitemap. Your sitemap is located here: http://www.burningblueaviationgifts.com/sitemap.xml It contains links only to your website general pages. To get the store pages indexed, please add store pages to the sitemap as well. Find more info about Sitemap in Google Help Center here: https://support.google.com/webmaster...r/183668?hl=en

Also, Google 'likes' HTTPS websites more than those running on HTTP. Here is what they write in their blog:

...today we'd like to announce that we're adjusting our indexing system to look for more HTTPS pages. Specifically, we’ll start crawling HTTPS equivalents of HTTP pages, even when the former are not linked to from any page.

To make your website run on https, you should buy the SSL certificate and install it on the website hosting side.
