Question

Does anybody know how to open the Pay-pal Checkout Page in a new tab?

Does anybody know how to open up your Pay-Pal Checkout page in a new tab
once somebody buys from your Ecwid store?

It's convenient for customers when they can still see your store, whether your store is on Facebook or your own site.

A) Is this Possible with Ecwid?

B) If this is possible, what is the CSS configuration process?

Any Information Helps. Thank you.

Hello!

This is Skyler from Ecwid Customer Care Team!

It’s impossible to make PayPal Checkout page to open in a new tab via CSS-configuration.

Our integration with PayPal Standard is a core functionality of Ecwid and works the same for every Ecwid user. Unfortunately it’s not possible to change its behaviour for a particular account only. There’s still a way to implement a custom integration with PayPal that works the way you need by utilizing our Custom Payment API. You can develop it by yourself using developers documentation https://developers.ecwid.com/api-doc...payment-method or hire a third-party programmer to develop a code for you. Also you can use Ecwid custom programming service and our specialists will write a code you need on a paid basis. We will contact you by email to discuss the details.

For now I can offer you the following workaround.

If you don’t want to redirect a customer to a payment gateway to finish the transaction, you may consider using one of these methods: PayPal Payflow Link, American Express Payment Gateway or Stripe. These will allow you to accept credit card payments without leaving your checkout pages. Please, refer to these articles to get to know more:

- PayPal methods: PayPal PayFlow/PayPal Advanced
- American Express Payment Gateway
- Stripe

And this article will help you to make the right choice: https://help.ecwid.com/customer/en/p...ooseformystore
