Remove $0.00

I would like to accept donations and I want to use radio button option. I use the product browser and would like to remove $0.00 from one of my products. I have tried all the code from past threads and have had no success.

I would also like to remove (+$5.00) in the pop up radio button. Just have $5.00

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hello,

1. It is totally possible to remove or rename $0.00 in one of your products page.

You should insert this code into the source code of the page on your site where you embedded Ecwid.

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
Ecwid.OnPageLoaded.add(function(page){
    if (page.type == "CATEGORY") {
        var f = function() {
            jQuery("div.ecwid-productBrowser-price").each(function(){
                if (jQuery(this).text() == "$0.00") {
                    jQuery(this).text("Options available");
                }
            });
        };
        f();
        setTimeout(f, 500);
    }
});
</script>
Please, note that this script requires jQuery library installed for its correctly work. In order to install it to your site you should add following code before </head> tag:

Code:
<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.0/jquery.min.js"></script>
2. You should add this CSS code to your custom CSS theme in Ecwid Control Panel > Settings > Design to remove (+$5.00) in the pop-up radio button:

Code:
span.ecwid-productBrowser-details-optionRadioButton-price {
  display:none;
}
If you have any questions, please, feel free to ask.

Thank you much. Worked perfectly.

Am I going to have to update the jquery code when new versions become available?

Hello,

jQuery is a fast, small, and feature-rich JavaScript library. It makes things like HTML document traversal and manipulation, event handling, animation, and Ajax much simpler with an easy-to-use API that works across a multitude of browsers.

There is no need to update jQuery code, when new version become available. It’s totally up to you.
