Wordpress site - want to populate store front before going live

I recently installed ECWID (very easy to use and set up) but was not ready to go live immediately. As a result I deactivated the plugin.

Is there a way to populate my shop front whilst building content without it appearing 'live'?

Hi Anita,

As with any other Wordpress page, you can hide your store page by switching its status to "Draft" in the page editor in your Wordpress admin backend. This way, you will see the page in preview mode but your visitors won't see it on your site. Another way to hide the store page is to temporarily remove it from the site menu — so that the page is accessible via direct link but is not visible in the menu. To edit your site menu, navigate to "Appearance -> Menu" in your Wordpress admin.

Please let us know if you have any question.
