Hi there,
That is right, whenever you add any code to the CSS theme you need to activate it to implement the changes.
You can also refer to the article in the help center on how to add the CSS codes correctly: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a.../360000160869-
Cheers,
Lexy

To hide the "Powered by Ecwid" icon at the bottom of the Instant Site (former Starter Site), use a CSS code. Here is how:

1) Go to your Ecwid Control Panel → Design.
2) Scroll down and click the “Create Theme” button.
3) Click the “Add New CSS theme” button.
4) Add the following CSS code:

Code:
a.logo {
display: none;
}
5) Save the changes.

As you do this, the "Powered by Ecwid" logo will no longer be displayed on the Instant Site.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us for help.
Worked !

** 4.1 ) Activate The code

Put This in your custom CSS to remove logo, but NOT the entire footer.

div.footer a.logo{
display:none;
}

Please remember to activate and save.

I am trying the free version at the moment to see if an Ecwid store suits my needs. It does seem to be what I want and I will probably upgrade to the Venture plan, however I would like to remove the "Powered by Ecwid" text/link that appears under the "Continue Shopping" button.

I found a question similar to my own on this forum, it is old and says "You need to upgrade to a Silver account and this little message is gone automatically." Has the Venture plan replaced the crossword solver sip calculator epfo silver plan and if so, will upgrading to the Venture plan mean that "Powered by Ecwid" will be removed? If not can this be done with CSS and if so can you tell me the correct code please?
Hello, how I removed the "powered by ecwid" is that I went to the custom CSS theme and typed
