Question

Hi,
So I have a grandfathered acct where I get 100 free products I haven't used the widget in a long time, so I see from the forum there is no seo for the free accts, does that go for the grandfathered free accts also ?

Also if I update to a paid acct, is there any discount for grandfathered accts ?

Does ecwid have any friendly seo urls working & IF SO WHICH APPLICATION OR ECOMMERCE PLATFORM CAN YOU INSERT IT INTO ? (sorry for capitalization, hit cap key)

Can google index facebook stores ?

So if I have a current opencart site & I want to import my products in to it, is there any special wizard you have ?

If not I have to use import using csv file ?

If I do use my store again, and I put the widget code in to different sites/URLS won't google pick that up as duplication & penalize the site ?

Does ecwid use canonical urls ?

is there a site map generated ?

is there or will there be a app to populate a opencart store with the products in a ecwid store ?

thanks

One other thing, with the google feed for the paid acct, does that have the google categories and google attributes say if you sell clothes & google wants size, color etc..

All the old accounts (registered before November 2012 before plans change) continue receiving the same functionality. E.g., as an early adopter you get 100 products for free, while current free plan allows adding 10 products only.
Please, refer to this blog post for details: http://www.ecwid.com/blog/ecwid-news...ing-users.html

So if you need to setup SEO for your store, you may want to consider upgrading to one of our paid plans: http://www.ecwid.com/plans-and-pricing.html
Please, note, there’s a discount for Annual plan: in total you pay for for 10 months and get full year of service.

First of all let me explain what is Ecwid and how it works. Ecwid is an embeddable e-commerce widget which you can add to your site and thus get a fully-featured online store. You can add it to many platforms at on time and it still will be one store. Please, check this forum thread concerning duplicate content:

Facebook stores are not indexed unfortunately.

Please, read this article to learn about SEO in Ecwid: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/15853308/SEO

Regarding your question about opencart, no, there’s no wizard or application which can transfer your products form Ecwid store to another e-commerce platform (e.g. opencart).
Though you can use export feature to migrate your products from Ecwid. Please, refer to this article for detailed information about export/import in Ecwid: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/26373353/Import-Export
