Custom CSS theme only working in Firefox

My custom CSS theme was working fine across all browsers up until a couple of days ago. Now it is only working in Firefox while in other browsers like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Safari my store reverts back to the default Standard CSS theme.

I have made some small changes to my website's HTML and CSS files, so I was wondering if this could be the cause of the problem. I have gone through the forum and tried suggestions to similar problems but I can't seem to find the solution.

You can view my store at: http://www.cloudnine09.com/store.html

Any help would be appreciated.

I've checked your site and found this line in your store page's HTML source:

Code:
        <script type="text/javascript" src="http://app.ecwid.com/script.js?1003"></script>
"1003" is the ID of our demo store, however you use this line along with the your correct Ecwid integration code(i.e.with the same code, but with other ID).

Please try to remove this line, it should fix the problem.

Hi Qetzal

Thanks for the quick reply and awesome advice! The solution you gave has fixed the problem. I must have added that in somehow when changing my HTML code for my store.

Cheers.

I am having this exact same probem.

Also, I checked to make sure that I was 'not using' the demo code before I posted this reply.

I have set custom styles for the cart but they only apply when viewing the site in FireFox. This problem just surfaced within the past few weeks.

I am browsing your link with the Firefox and with other browsers, and cannot see any differens between different browsers. So, basically I cannot reproduce the issue. Can you please add more details to your request?

- Does the problem persist by now?
- Does clearing the cache help?
- What exactly browsers do you use, what do you expect to see and what do you actually see? (Please, attach a screenshot).

I figured out the problem. It had to do with the Ecwid Search Widget. I ended up unpublishing it, then publishing a new search widget using a Text widget + the code from the site -- that works. The Ecwid WordPress plugin is using the demo store for the search widget. Just FYI.
