Disable order tracking

How can I remove the note that says "Track your order" or order status after a customer places an order (and in their order confirmation email)? I don't want the customer to be able to see this information.

1. You can disable any email notification or modify its content on the "System Settings -> Mail" page.

2. If you don't want to show the "You can track the progress of your order in Your Account section." text, use the following custom CSS code:

HTML Code:
td.ecwid-Invoice-footer-orderConfirmation-text span#trackOrder {
display:none;
}
Also do you want to hide the "View All Orders" link on the "Your account" page?

Yes, I'd like to hide the View all orders link too...can you supply the code for that?

Can you also give a quick explanation of how order tracking works? Will the system just give them a status of the order as set in the shopping store by us (e.g., paid, processing, shipped, etc.)? Also, will changing an order status automatically trigger an email to the customer?

1. Unfortunately there is no easy way to hide this link only. So I suggest the following:
- hide the left "Your Account" column completely
- if a customer wants to change his/her email, he/she can do it just by clicking "Your account" link in the product browser.

2. How to order tracking works.
- you ship a package and get the tracking number from the carrier
- you change the order status manually and enter the number in the Ecwid backed to the necessary order
- the customer gets an email about the status change and the tracking number.

- Customers can see the current order status on the "Your account" page
- Some order statuses changes will trigger an email to the customer. You can disable such notifications.

You are welcome to do it via your Ecwid control panel -> ‘System settings’ tab -> Design -> CSS themes.

Please refer to the following article to learn more about Ecwid CSS:

So, I added this code to upper box and saved? Still is showing 'You can track the progress of your order in Your Account section.' at bottom of order confirmation screen in the frame.

Would like this completely removed, as I have no time to 'manually' send tracking numbers to customers all day! This would be a VERY tedious task!

Thanks Kess!

Nevermind! I solved it! Had to hit 'activate'

Kess is the best! Easy on the eyes too!
