Default Shipping Charges Show 0.00 Regardless of What I Do

Hi,

Just opened account and created store with 2 free products, I'm just charging shipping for now.
But I define shipping for each of the products to be a flat 1.99. I test, and at checkout shipping is 0.00

I then created a user defined method and specified that it should be 1.99 per item. Still, shipping shows 0.00 at checkout.

BTW, how do I tell ecwid that the shipping method I created is to be used with the products? I didn't find that.

Is this happening because I didn't link cart with merchant account yet?

Thanks.

I have checked your store and, as far as I can see, all the shipping settings in it are configured correctly, and shipping cost is actually applied and displayed. But since you use PayPal Express Checkout as you payment method, the shipping cost for your customers is calculated after they sign in to PayPal. In other word, a customer adds a product in your store, proceeds to checkout and gets to PayPal side. There he/she either signs in to PayPal account or enters the details as a guest. After that the customer is redirected back to your store (“Shipping details” page), and after he/she enters the shipping address the shipping cost will be displayed to the customer. Here is screenshot of this page in your store:
