Integration wirh Price Calculator Plugin

Is it possible to integrate the cart with this calculator:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/price-calc/
So in the end person can add quoted item to the cart?
It'll make the cart even more amazing.
Thank you for all your work!

It is not possible currently. However we will think about such integration as soon as Ecwid gets an API.

Also did you try to achieve the same thing using Ecwid product options? They can affect the price.

Could you please explain how to do it. I was only able to set it up in a way that puts "+$50" for a particular option, but it doesn't change the price automatically. Is it possible to set it up to be added to price before you proceed to check out? Thank a lot, Eugene!

The price will be changed as soon as you add products to the shopping bag.

If you want to change the price automatically, there are two options:

- you can try adding such feature yourself by inserting some custom JavaScript code that detects the selected options and updates the price. Such task requires some JavaScript knowledge though.

- you can register this feature at ideas.ecwid.com. This feature is a nice one, so I think it will get many votes quickly and we will add it to Ecwid.

Thanks for being so fast, I unfortunately do not posses the skills necessary for adding such script. It sounds like building a spaceship

For those of you guys who will be interested in the same option, please vote for this idea:
http://ideas.ecwid.com/pages/22031-i...sed-on-options so it can be integrated.

Just voted for this. Surprised it hasn't been voted up and implemented yet. It would make the options much more useful and less confusing.

Simplicity and appearance is everything.

I have some experience implementing javascript like this, but am not familiar enough with Ecwid to know where to start.

First check this JS library: http://kb.ecwid.com/f/ecwidMods.js
It's useful for building JS mods for Ecwid.
