Here is what I did:
1. Added the language tags for the German and the Italian description [lang="de"] resp. [lang="it"] and [/lang] in the product description field.
2. Downloaded Chrome browser for testing purposes and switched the language in the settings to Italian.
3. Revisited the page.
Result: The product page displays the description in German only, Italian does not appear.
What did I do wrongly?

Thanks very much for your help!

Hello Valentina!
It’s Rina from Ecwid Customer Care team. Thank you for your message!
I checked your store and Ecwid account and didn't see the language blocks or shortcodes in this product description field. Please, check this
screenshot. At the moment, there's only text in German.
If you want this description in Italian for your Italian customers, then you should do the following:
1) Prepare the text in Italian. Note, the app doesn’t translate it for you. You can do it yourself or use a translation tool like
Google Translate.
2) Add language blocks to the description field to show language specific content to your store visitors:
HTML Code:
[lang="LOCALE_CODE"]Your description here[/lang]
For example, you can add the following texts to the description field:
HTML Code:
[lang="de"]Energetische Reinigung und Klärung[/lang]
[lang="it"]Pulizia e chiarificazione energetica[/lang]
The app will automatically detect the customer’s browser language and display the block for their language in the description. In this case, your customers from Germany will see the first line, and from Italy - the second one.
Hope this helps!
