Default Quantity box in Product view

Can I get a Quantity box to come up in Product view? (not Product Browser).

I thought I could build it in Options, but not sure how.

Do you mean the "Single Product" widget?

Yes, on a page with a single product, not a full list. Someone might want to order multiples.

Thank you for the clarification, Brian.
Unfortunately it isn't possible at this moment. So, please vote for this idea: http://ideas.ecwid.com/forums/22031-...ion-?ref=title

Also you can use this workaround: http://kb.ecwid.com/How-can-I-show-a...default#JScode

Default Quantity box in Product View

That workaround is for a default product showing. I don't see anything there to display a quantity box. Did I miss something, or is that part of this workaround?

Thanks,
Brian

Brian,

So, you want to show a single product on a separate page. The workaround works as follows:

- you can add a product browser to this page
- force it to show a specific product by default
- hide all the unnecessary elements from the product browser using CSS. Important note: you will need to add CSS classes to your page, not to the Ecwid CSS theme.

Default Is it possible to add Qty to single product widget?

Hi,

I am using single product widget at my site http://www.blackcaviarusa.com/, actually only "Add to Bag" button.

Is it possible to add Qty options to single product widget, so my customers will be able to set Qty at http://www.blackcaviarusa.com/paddle...k-caviar-4-oz/ page and add for example 10 items at ones?

Thank You,
Gary

Currently, Ecwid displays the quantity box on the product details page in the usual storefront widget, like here for example: http://www.ecwid.com/demo-frontend.h...t&product=4006
. But unfortunately, at the moment there is no way to add the quantity field via the single product widget settings. If you use the single product widget, your customers can specify the quantity after adding the product to cart, i.e. in the cart itself.

Please, vote for this idea here: http://ideas.ecwid.com/forums/22031-...ion-?ref=title

However there is a workaround that may probably suit you: instead of the single product widget you can use the Product Browser widget. It will display the quantity box. The next step is to display your product details right after the customers open your store, i.e. prevent them from seeing the rest of the store. There are two ways to do it, both are described in this article.

If you still prefer to have the quantity box within exactly the single product widget, it is possible to add such a functionality by creating a custom script that will get this box via the Product API and display it for the single product widget. Please note that Product API is available to the paid account only.

If you need any assistance with such a modification, please

Default Add Qty options to Joomla Custom HTML widget

Hi,

I have inserted the Custom HTML (single product) into my site
http://websitefx.info/index.php/comp...venture#ecwid: ...but I want the quantity box to show in the widget aswell.

Does anyone know how I can have the quantity options show under the radio buttons?

Thanks

Nikki
