Hi,

In general, the custom JS code needs to be inserted into the HTML source code of the store page. When you use a plugin to embed Ecwid into Joomla, you cannot just edit the source code of your shop page, because it is fully generated by the plugin and the template of your Joomla. In this case you need to put the code into a new 'Custom HTML' module in your Joomla and then publish that module in any position on the shop page or even on all pages of the site (it will not harm anything). This way the custom code will get into the shop page source code and your custom code will work.

As to where to place custom CSS code, please refer to this article:

Default Products disappeared...

I added A custom html Module, image at bottom of page.

This caused my products on my product page disappeared. If I unpublish Custom Mod, it reappears.

Is this script wrong?
<head>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js"></script>

<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.9.2/jquery-ui.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">

<script type="text/javascript">

Ecwid.OnPageLoaded.add(function(page){

if (page.type == "PRODUCT") {

$( "#tabs" ).tabs();
}
})
</script>
</head>

<body>

</body>
</html>

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

Joomla automatically generates appropriate <head>, <body>, <html> and other document-related HTML tags for each page of your site. So you shouldn't put those tags in a custom module. The way you currently does it, the resulting HTML code becomes invalid which makes all page content to behave improperly. In order to fix that, you should remove all <html>, <head> and <body> tags from your code. You will need to keep only the code suggested in the article.
