Ecwid has suddenly begun adding $6.00 to each of my shipping rates, both the USPS calculated ones, and my custom ones.

I do NOT have a $6.00 fee added to any of the rates. For example.. my rate where I set shipping rates, for a medium flat rate box, is $13.87; but in the shopping cart, the same rate (I capitalized some words to be certain) it reads as $19.87.



~~~ Fairly freaksome: I took several items out of the cart, and then put them back, and now it's adding right.
Maybe it was the USPS api misbehaving?

In any event, it appears to have stopped adding the extra cost.

Thank you for the detailed report of the problem. I'm glad it does not persist anymore.

I've decided to check possible reasons or trace of why it might have been happening:

— I've checked every one of your products for a possible "Global rate + fixed price per item" setting on the 'Tax and Shipping' tab of product editing page. Screenshot: http://take.ms/QgwaE
— I've also checked each and every one of your shipping methods for a possible markup setting. See: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...hipping-markup
— I've also checked, if you have a Handling fee set up: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...-Handling-fees

However, none of those are set up to add that $6 markup you mentioned.

By the looks of it, USPS API did sustain an overload in requests & responses yesterday. So perhaps, that is indeed a reason for it.

Have you been able to replicate the problem again?
