The code above resizes the whole widget, can you elaborate on your request? What do you mean by the outside box? It would be great, if you provided the Store ID or a link to your store too!

If there is a possibility for you to take a screenshot to illustrate what you're talking about, that would be best!

Thank you for explanation.

The problem previous merchant had had was that he thought, that he could crop the element by dragging the borders and reducing it. You can see the problem in this screenshot:


You see, this is a normal WIX behaviour, as the square, that you resizing is the iframe, that the shopping bag is inserted in. So basically, you're reducing the area where the shopping bag is placed and displayed, not the element itself. I'm afraid, that how WIX works.

So the only way you can reduce the size is coding, provided in this forum.

So, do you have the same issue?

I've checked your account, and see that you actually did add the code to your theme, but it's a bit wrong. And that's why it does not work. See:


You do not need any prefixes, as the post above states, it should be this:

.ecwid-minicart {
-ms-transform: scale(0.3, 0.3); /* IE 9 */
-webkit-transform: scale(0.3, 0.3); /* Safari */
transform: scale(0.3, 0.3);
}

And also, as I explained above, you seem to have reduced the iframe the minicart is inserted in. Please, undo the changes. Like this:



That ought to fix it.

I too have added the code which changes the icon but not the outer frame so it wont fit close enough to the top of the page. How can the outer frame size be changed?

Hi Wendy,
thanks for the response but the problem is still there. Yes I can make the icon small so thanks for that code, but the problem is I can't move the icon any higher as it has the 'frame' around it. So I had to make the header deeper to cover the whole icon.

I have this same issue....

It reduced the size of the icon, but the size of the outside box remains quite large.

If I try to reduce the size of the outside box from left and top, it cuts the image of the bag.

Please advvise.
