I am trying to see the forest through the tree here as I am hoping ECWID will be the solution for me. I am photographer who is trying to create a store front for online print sales. Ultimately I would like to offer for each image several different sizes and of course the option of paper or canvas. Please keep in mind that I am not savvy with CSS, so will ecwid work for my purposes?

You can easily create one product for each image and add the options for sizing and printing. As far as CSS, you wouldn't have to edit anything, although you might want to. Do you have an existing website or not?

I'm sure Ecwid meets your requirements and you will need no CSS mods for what you described - Ecwid has built-in features for that. You will just need to place Ecwid widgets on some page of your site and configure your products with corresponding options in your control panel.
