I see, that you copied the message of the previous poster, so I'm going to presume, that you have the same problem.

I've looked into your PayPal settings, and see that you have enabled a Sandbox mode in your PayPal settings. See: http://take.ms/YlrYM

Sandbox mode is basically the test mode. No real transactions.

Please, go ahead and disable the Sandbox mode in your Ecwid Control Panel > Settings > Payment > PayPal > Actions > Edit > Advanced settings > Sandbox Mode.

Once you do that, you will be able to receive real transactions.

Default Square Payment is Locked on my Store. I'm on the Free Plan

Hi,

My store link is www.liberianlovesouvenirs.ecwid.com

I'm on the Free plan and I setup Square, Paypal, and a couple other Payment Options.

I am trying to do a test payment myself and paying by Square. In the Checkout section, I cannot enter any information into the payment section and there is a Lock icon. What is the problem. My Square account is all setup and verified.

Please help.

I've checked your website: www.liberianlovesouvenirs.ecwid.com , added a product to bag and went through the checkout process. This is what I noticed:

* When I went to the Payment details step and chose Square as a payment option, I really couldn't enter the CC details within first several seconds as the secure payment form was loading. I saw the following: a screenshot—https://monosnap.com/file/oYVm6r3b55...7bwKj0wcaOQkJW

* In several seconds, when the form was loaded, I saw the following: a screenshot— https://monosnap.com/file/uj5WasywjO...dFDzxH8BpQIB9N . The lock icon means that this form is secure and CC details are in safety as these details are processed only on the Square side.

* After that, I clicked on the form and was able to add CC details. A screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/3ZLP5TyclE...ODBSRq2SoBmHck


Thus, please choose Square at checkout, wait for several seconds till the payment form loads and then try to add CC details.

Default Beyond Frustrated

Big problems with PayPal Express payment processing. I have been using Ecwid for some time. I am now questioning everything. PayPal in-line processing with smart buttons stops working out of no where and I have to fin out on my own. After going through one customer service rep telling me everything is fine to someone who finally know what’s going to basically say yes there is a problem.
When I talk to PayPal they said it is shut off on Ecwid side. Ecwid says it shut off because of script problems. I really don’t know who is giving me the run around PayPal or Ecwid. What I do know sales are down 50% . Trying to find out if this paypal express inline is just an Ecwid problem or across all carts.
Any info PayPal express inline processing from community would help.

You're right, we're currently working on the issue with the PayPal Smart Buttons. For the time being we've disabled them from the checkout until the fix gets tested and released.
