Hello - the only information I can find on this topic seems pretty old, I'm hoping someone can tell me there's a global product options feature available? Right now, all I've been able to find is adding options (size, color, etc.) for each product, or cloning and then editing, but it seems clunky. My client needs to have options for monogramming some products, with fonts, colors, etc. Any info that can be provided would be most appreciated!

So you would like to clone products with options in a bulk.

This is possible. Such could be easily achieved using the X-Cart CSV import.

You can import your products with product options: http://help.ecwid.com/customer/porta...productoptions

Then edit such CSV file and add the necessary products, and then import these products into your web store.

My apologies - I didn't explain myself clearly enough. :-)
What I want to be able to do is create product options independent from actual products, and then assign them as products are either entered or edited. This has been possible in every other ecommerce solution I've used, but does not so far seem possible here. I've found posts talking about it going back many years, but nothing saying the feature has been added.

Indeed, such feature was already requested by our customers. It was not implemented yet.

So, possibly it could be implemented in future Ecwid versions.

Meanwhile you can try to use the workaround from my previous message. And manually create products + options records within the CSV import file.

Now it's possible guys to bulk edit a lot of product information, including quantity, price, enable/disable, options, choices and more.
