Responsive design for mobile site

hi guys!

Im designing some new web pages (http://e-commercebuilder.com/)to be responsive for mobile devices. On the category browser page id like to be able to have 2 categories show side by side. At the moment with the category images i have the web page seems to narrow down to one category per line. can you tell how i change this to have at least two categories per line.

Do i have to change the size of the category images or reduce the gap between the images to achieve this ? Alternatively is there a way to shrink the images to a size which allows two images per line ? I am testing on a iphone at the moment but hope to test other mobiles in time.

Thanks

Hello,

This is Stacy from Ecwid Customer Care team.

Thank you for contacting us! I'm here to help you.

I checked the provided link and could not allocate an Ecwid store on your site, sorry. What is the correct link where I can inspect your store? Thank you.

As I could see on your Ecwid Starter site https://store13444032.ecwid.com/ you do not have categories now. To add it you should go to your control panel > Catalog > Categories page. See more info about Categories in Ecwid: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...ng-categories-

As for the mobile responsibility. Ecwid by itself is totally mobile friendly. You can check it easily, just open your Starter site on your mobile device: https://store13444032.ecwid.com/

So, in case your own site has a responsive layout as well, your Ecwid store will dynamically adapt to a customer’s device (smartphone, tablet, etc). If your site has no mobile adaptive design, Ecwid won’t be like that either.

To change the number of categories per row you should change the categories thumbnail sizes, indeed. You should do it in your control panel > Settings > Design page.

I hope this helps.
