Are developers working on a way to add a subscription option to Ecwid?

It is the most requested feature and has been a request since 2009. Do the devs not know how to do this?

Almost at 2000 votes! How is this feature coming along

What's the point of the feature request section if the most requested feature is ignored?

Default Why are ecwid users not able to offer subscriptions?

Ecwid is subscription based yet users can't offer subscriptions to their customers? You see the value in this feature so much that it is the only way someone can use ecwid. But when it comes to your customers, you've basically just decided that they don't need it.

And I feel like you shouldn't have a section where users can make suggestions if you're going to ignore the two most requested features. If the 2 most requested (that were requested in 2009) are ignored, why would anyone feel like their suggestion held any kind of value?

I love Ecwid, but seeing this is kind of frustrating. If anyone responds, please don't respond saying that you understand the frustration (or the paypal method) unless it's followed with: "We are working on a solution for this right now!"

Hi John,

Creating a subscriptions app is quite complex, based on the many technical aspects of the workflow, security, features, and methodology.

However, we are actively working on a preliminary subscriptions app for Ecwid users, and will add many advanced features that will cover many different subscription concepts that has been extensively discussed on these forums.

We have a popular dashboard app in the Ecwid apps marketplace, and will be actively adding many more beneficial apps for Ecwid users, in the months to come.

If you'd like to be part of a small select group of Ecwid users as part of the pre-launch testing phase of the subscriptions app, please send an email to info@businessinsighter.com.

Thank you.
