Italian Error Translations

Hi, We are a italian web agency,

We are planning ecommerce with Ecwid. We agreements a big mistake that does not allow us to continue the work!

The invoice at the end of purchase can be removed? Or change the words as attached screenshot?

SCREENSHOT1:
NO "STAMPARE QUESTA FATTURA" - YES "STAMPA QUESTA CONFERMA D'ORDINE"
LINK SCREENSHOT1: http://www.globecom.it/screen1.png

SCREENSHOT2:
NO "FATTURA" - YES "CONFERMA ORDINE"
LINKS SCREENSHOT2: http://www.globecom.it/screen2.png

Thank's for the reply! We are available to improve translations in Italian

Hi!

Thank you for your report. Before we implement it, could you, please, clarify:

Are these phrases ("STAMPA QUESTA CONFERMA D'ORDINE" and "CONFERMA ORDINE") commonly used among Italian stores?
If so, could you provide us with links to stores which use exactly the same phrases (some screenshots will also be appreciated)?

In any case you can change any phrase in your Ecwid store, please, refer to: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/22978888/...inmystorefront
The labels you want to change are:
‘OrderConfirmation.print_invoice’ and ‘PrintableInvoice.INVOICE’
So, the code will be:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
ecwidMessages = {
"OrderConfirmation.print_invoice":"STAMPA QUESTA CONFERMA D'ORDINE",
"PrintableInvoice.INVOICE":"CONFERMA ORDINE”
};
</script>
We really appreciate your intention to help us improve Italian translations.
You can send your corrections through bug report: http://www.ecwid.com/bt/bug_report_page.php
If you want to help us with translation of the whole storefront, we can send you a list of labels so that you can check and correct it.
Thank you!

As ABS pointed out, what we currently get from Ecwid cannot be legally called invoice ('fattura' in Italian) in most European countries.

That's why we currently need to use this workaround using Javascript and custom translations as explained by Alina.

However, I do hope that Ecwid will finally implement a a much more flexible invoicing system, please vote for it

Hi!

Thank you for your feedback.
As a temporary solution you can develop custom invoices using Ecwid API.
I believe information in this thread will be useful for you: http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17283

Hello,

Could you send us a list of texts that were not translated yet and Italian translation for them? We will be glad to improve the default Italian translation in Ecwid.

As a temporary workaround, I suggest you to use custom translation tool. Please, refer to this article for details: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/22978888/...inmystorefront

Hi,

The enumerated texts are already translated to Italian. Here's a screenshot from our demo store in Italian: http://d.pr/i/DrgI

Ecwid determines in which language to show the store based on the browser settings of the visitor. However, it looks like it won't work in your Ecwid shop: I changed my browser settings to have only Italian language, opened your Ecwid and it remained in English. At that your simple store (http://innviaggithailandia.ecwid.com/simple-store) was displayed in Italian.

Most likely it's caused by the use of CloudFlare Rocket Loader plugin: https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en...ket-Loader-do- on the site. In short, this plugin puts the site's elements on CDN which is supposed to speed up the site loading. More details: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/52637642/...ocket%20Loader
But it takes all the scripts including Ecwid and loads them from Cloudflare. Probably Ecwid script is cached on CloudFlare with English language, hence the store is displayed in English only.

There're two ways to solve it:

1) To follow the steps offered in this article, so that Rocket Loader doesn't impact Ecwid scripts:
http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/52637642/...ocket%20Loader

2) To force the use of Italian language in the Ecwid script. How to do it: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/22978888/...ctioninmystore
