Unfortunately, we don't have ETA on this feature yet. Please, vote for this idea here: http://ideas.ecwid.com/forums/22031-...-notifications and we will inform you that it's status will be changed.

Currently, this can be accomplished with custom programming. You need to create a script on a server-side scripting language, that will respond to the calls in the ION API Message format, request your order information and send out a letter to your customer. Then you need to place this script on some web server, and the URL of that script will be your ION endpoint, that you need to input in your Ecwid control panel.

This way requires some programming skills, so you may be interested in the professional custom programming service. The programmers from Qualiteam can be contacted to accomplish this task, as they are quite familiar with Ecwid and its APIs and have lots of completed projects in the e-commerce area.

Hi, Thank you for this solid information.
I shall see what I can make of it.
Hopefully the HTML notifications will be implemented someday.
But for now I've a good lead to follow up.

Thanks.
Kind regards,
John

Is there a way to customize calculations to show the "net" that I would pay my supplier. It's relatively easy;

Order total: $1,000
Less commission: $100 (10%)
Plus Credit Card Fees: (= to 1.9% of 1,000 + .30)

Thanks!

Is there a way to customize this so that I can enter (under Items Ordered)

Ordered Items:
START ITEM
%name%, Qty: %quantity%, Price: %price%
END ITEM
Sub-Total: %subtotal%
Shipping: ????
Total Paid: %total% (This would total of Sub-Total + Shipping)
Commission: (equal to 10% of subtotal)
CC Fee: (equal to "Subtotal - 1.9% + .30")
Net Due: (equal to Total Paid less commission, less cc fee)

Here's what i have currently;
START SHIPPING
TOWER ORDER INFO
%TIMESTAMP%

%shipping_name%
%shipping_street%
%shipping_city%,shipping_stateOrProvinceCode%,%shi pping_postalCode%

%shipping_phone%
Email:

Boat: %options%

ITEMS ORDERED
START ITEM
%name%, Qty: %quantity%, Price: %price%
END ITEM
AMT PAID: %total%

Ron, please confirm receipt of order, and send tracking information once shipped. Upon transfer of funds to my account, I will send you the net amount due.

Thanks,

%store_name%
Phone %office_phone%
Hi,

It is possible to modify email notifications Ecwid sends to the store admin and to the customers. Please refer to this article for more details:
http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/25104182/...0Notifications

In your case, however, since you want to include custom calculations in the email notificaitons (not only plain text or existing tags), the only solution I can suggest is custom programming. Please find the details in this thread:

Hello Surender,

Ecwid allows to change customer email notification in Ecwid control panel -> System Settings -> Mail -> "Customer notifications" tab. It sends email notifications in plain text format, so it isn't possible to add image or any HTML tag at this moment.

If you want to send nice HTML notifications to your customers, I suggest you to add "HTML Notification" module from Ninja Widget company. Please, refer to this page for details: http://ninjawidget.com/html_notifications/index.html

If there is something else that I can help you with, please, let me know.

It does not have any formatting header or anything that looks remotely nice. Is there a simple way to change this?

The pdf invoice looks NICE... would like something more like that.

Thanks,
Jaden

Hi,

Thank you for your post. Ecwid sends out email notifications only as a plain text at present. You can edit the text and format in Ecwid control panel>System Settings>Mail.
We're planning to improve it and add HTML emails. Please vote for this idea http://ideas.ecwid.com/forums/22031-...-notifications and you'll be notified once this feature is implemented.

There's a plugin for Ecwid that send HTML notifications, you may want to use it for now: http://ninjawidget.com/html_notifications/index.html

I noticed that the HTML email notification feature has been released.. GREAT!!

I am currently reviewing the template and the documentation for this feature and I can't see a way of adding the affiliate ID into the html templates (this was available in the plain text version)

Is there any way of adding the affiliate id to the html emails?

Hello!

I’ve checked - indeed %affiliate_id% at the moment isn’t available in new mail notifications.

Still, to do the best from my side I’ve forwarded the info to our development team, and got a reply that this feature should be there, thereby it will be added, and I from my side shall inform you as soon as it’s done.

Meanwhile, as a workaround I can only suggest switching back to old mail notifications in your Ecwid control panel > System settings > General > Migrations - they still allow to display affiliate ID.
