Question

XCart Options Import Not Working

Hi!

I've been importing options thru the XCart format for a while now using the same format. However, this time, it appears that the import has worked fine until you notice the import detail says "0" products updated. Then I reviewed some random items and none are updated. Can you tell me where I've erred in my file format?

Hi,

Can you please send us your CSV file? You can attach the file to your post here. Thanks.

Sorry. Could have sworn I'd done that.
Here you go...

Thanks.

I've inspected the file. It's format seems to be valid. But the products listed in the file do not exist in your store - I checked ten random SKUs in the file and I failed to find the corresponding products in your store. Thus there is nothing the file could update.

While importing product options via X-Cart CSV format, the SKU numbers in the file should match the existing SKUs in your store - that will result in updating the products.

Please let me know if I missed something.

Thank you! No, you didn't miss anything. As suspected, I did. The file contains Names instead of SKUs. Thanks so much!
