You can edit the new HTML-notifications in your Ecwid control panel > System settings > Mail. You can modify any template to meet the needs of your Ecwid store. This customisation includes completely redesigning the template, adding custom messages, promo codes, news feed subscriptions, links to other resources and many more. The template contains static text information and variables. You can change the texts if you want to rephrase them to any other way or translate the notification to your language, for example, you can copy the texts from your old notifications and paste them into the new templates.
The variables, on the other hand, are loaded from the Ecwid servers and at the moment they work this way:
- "Order confirmation" email template loads translations for the notification based on the language your customer views the storefront in;
- The language of the variables "Order shipped" and "Order status changed" templates depends on the language you view your Ecwid control panel in when changing the status (As far as I know, it is now available on several languages only, we are planning to add translations for all backend languages);
- the language of the "Successful Registration" and "Password Reminder" emails depend on the storefront language your customer registers or requests password reminder in.
