Ecwid always shows the price modifier that you have set for product option. It is required in order to show customer how much will selected option costs, before s/he adds product with this option to the cart.

If you don’t want to show price modifiers in the dropdown lines, I recommend you to use product variations functionality, which allows to set the absolute, final, combined price for each product variation (i.e. how much exactly this product will cost once a customer selects this set of options for it). In this case, product price will dynamically change as customer selects, and price modifiers will not be shown in the dropdowns or radio buttons.

Unfortunately, there is no CSS workaround to hide the product modifiers in the dropdowns because each line in the dropdown can only be represented with single HTML element, so you can either hide the whole line or have it totally visible,

If you want to remove exactly the bracket symbols, but keep the price modifier, you can add the following rule to your Ecwid CSS theme:
Code:
span.ecwid-productBrowser-details-optionRadioButton-bracket {
  display: none;
}
If, however, you want to remove the whole modifier, then you can use the following rule:
Code:
span.ecwid-productBrowser-details-optionRadioButton-price {
  display: none;
}

Thanks Eugene that worked a treat:-)

I've just realised by using options to set my prices and hiding all instances of £0.00, the prices and subtotals are also missing on the checkout page. (I didn't anticipate that).

So I am wondering if there is any code where I can have the prices and subtotals appear on this page only?

or is there any code to remove the "price" label & "subtotal" label?

Thanks

UPDATE

It is possible to hide the price modifiers in the storefront with the help of a special JavaScript code that should be added to the source code of your site page where you placed your Ecwid store. Please refer to this article for details: How to hide price modifiers
