Switching Over Two Pavyment Shopping Sites

Hi!

I am trying to switch over my two pavyment shopping carts to ecwid. I had two different shopping carts one for each one of my two different Facebook Pages. It seems to transfer only one shopping cart to both Business Facebook Pages. How do I switch them over individually since they both now have the same shopping site on both pages instead of individual shopping sites . Here is links to see how payment let me have one account with different shopping stores. Thanks!

Hi,

You can transfer both stores to Ecwid and setup individual shops on the Facebook pages. To migrate the second store, please follow these steps:

- Go to the Facebook page that should have the second store, and remove the Ecwid shop from there so that to put another shop later
(follow the same instructions from here: how to remove shop icon )

- Sign in to your Payvment dashboard, and change the email used there (Global settings -> Seller email address). After the migration a new Ecwid account will be created, and there needs to be another email.

- Click the transfer button next to your second store

- Wait for the migration to be completed. Once it's done you'll be redirected to your new Ecwid account, registered to the email that you setup on the above step.

- Proceed to 'Dashboard' at my.ecwid.com, and follow the steps to open Ecwid shop on the necessary Facebook page.

Default products not moved

I have products on my old payvment account and they did not transfer to my Ecwid account. I cannot access them now to remove or edit. How do I get to them and delete or move them over to my ecwid account?? Thanks!

Hi Linda,

Payvment closed their services and all stores on March 1, 2013 unfortunately. We didn't acquire anyhow Payvment assets (like their servers, domain names, client's data) - that all remained under Payvment property. Ecwid was only offered as an alternative shopping cart. Payvment contacted all users and provided a tool to migrate products to Ecwid. But the migration was optional, and users needed to do it themselves through their Payvment profiles. If one hadn't migrated, the account data was lost when Payvment closed.
So I'm sorry it appears we don't have your account data.

I invite you to start over and open your store with Ecwid. We'll be glad to help you with all questions and issues.

How to proceed:

1. Create an account with Ecwid. It's easy:
you can do so at https://my.ecwid.com/cp/
click 'Create new account' link and fill in four fields, or click to sign up via your profile at a social network on the left.

2. If you have just a few products you can add them manually at my.ecwid.com. If you have many products, it's possible to import them all at once via import feature. Do you have a list of products stored e.g. on your computer? Or on a website?

NOTE: when you sign up you will receive free account that will remain free as long as you wish. It has all necessary tools to open and run online store. Yet there's 10 products limit. If you're going to sell more items, you should consider obtaining a paid plan. More information on our plans
on our site http://www.ecwid.com/plans-and-pricing.html and
in our knowledge-base: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/61132443/...es%20breakdown

If you want to give it a try first, you surely can keep free account, add just a few products and test if that works for you.

3. Launch Ecwid store on your Facebook page. Instructions: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/15853261/Facebook

Please, let me know if you have questions for now.

Thanks for the reply. I did do the migration (I thought) and created my Ecwid account way back then but never checked it until recently. That's when i discovered that when i log into Payvment, i go to Ecwid automatically but none of my products moved over as i thought they did when the switch was made. I created my account back then. I have the free account with 100 free product listing as promised so if i delete my account and start over, i will only have the 10 free products. This is why i don't want to start over. I will try to contact Payvment and get them to remove all the products from my page but the tab goes to Ecwid when i click on it. I think i'm lost in the ozone with these products. I do NOT want to start over.
