after 6 days of trying to link Facebook page to my ECWID store I finally discover that the store will not be accessible for customers who use mobile phones! Yes i realise that its a Facebook policy, but i wish I had of known this 6 days ago. I would not have bothered setting up. If the two platforms cannot essentially talk to each other from a customer point of view, I am essentially wasting their time and losing potential sales.
I now have to find another platform without the issue. No point in continuing using ECWID>

Hello,
Una here, Ecwid customer care team. Thank you for your message!
Yes, you’re absolutely right, currently Ecwid stores can’t be displayed on mobile devices due to Facebook limitations. I’m very sorry that this makes you feel this way. We mention about the restrictions in our detailed article about Facebook, please take a look: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...FacebookMobile
However, there is a workaround: you can add a Facebook call-to-action "Shop Now" button. When your customers access the Facebook page on mobile devices and click this button, they will be redirected to your Starter Site and will be able to purchase your products. Here you can find an instruction on how to do that: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...ok-from-mobile
I hope this information will be useful. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. We will be glad to answer and help.
Best regards,
Una Q.,
