Post Suspected Business Manager API Issues

Hello, today I am trying to add my store to the correct Facebook Page.

The page is managed through Facebook Business Manager.

While Ecwid wasn't able to detect it in the usual browser dashboard, I was able to select the page through:

apps.facebook.com/ecwid-shop

However, the page ID is not assigned. When I try to follow the wizard from the "Store" tab on my facebook page (whether in Business Manager or just looking on standard Facebook).

I get the result at this url: https://apps.facebook.com/ecwid-shop...41327705899290

"Only page's owners can access page settings"

I believe this to be an issue between the integration of the app and unexpected complications through pages managed via the Business Manager feature - as I am the only admin & owner of the page.

If you are able to help, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Jeremy,

I am very sorry you faced this issue. If I get it right, you want to add your Ecwid store to Facebook business page. Please try to do it by following the steps indicated in our Adding store to Facebook help center article. Make sure that you are logged in to the Facebook account that owns/administrates this Facebook page.

Please let me know if I got it wrong and you meant something else.

Indeed, I have followed those steps.

The page I would like to add never appears in the drop-down list.

Oddly, in my list of connected pages/stores (in the screen previous) is one of a store I do not directly manage from my own Ecwid account (it is a store that I manage for a client that I have privileges of on their own Ecwid account).

I've attached a screenshot to better clarify. I've blurred the names of my FB pages, but this is as far as I can get. One of my Business Manager pages does show up, but the one with the matching brand to match my Ecwid store does not.

The issue you described may be connected to the fact that your Facebook account is not listed as the administrator of the page you'd like to add the store to.

Thus, please, check your page role:

- log in to your Facebook account
- open the Facebook Business page you'd like to add Ecwid to
- click Settings > Page Roles
- your Facebook account name should appear as "Admin" in the "Existing Page Roles" block:



If your Facebook account is not listed as an administrator, it should be granted with this permission to add the Ecwid store to the page.

In case you are the administrator of the necessary page, please send me a screenshot of the "Page Role" settings and a link to the Facebook page you'd like to add Ecwid to.

Please note I am using Business Manager as I manage somewhere nearly twenty odd some pages in my business with various people and organizations. I am suspecting that the API integration to ECWID can not support or detect pages owned by other pages (of which I am also the owner).

I am experience this exact same issue and have verified everything. Has this issue been resolved or do I need to find another provider for my Facebook shop?
