I've diligently input this code (which I believed I had already tried this permutation, as well previously following that article) and PAP is tracking nothing from this. no clicks, no sales conversions...

I can send you backend login for both Ecwid and PAP so you can see, the details / code are exactly as explained in the articles and in your post...still nothing.
