I've replied to you via email and I'll copy my message here as well.

If you are referring to the "Sign in by the link" option, then please let me clarify what it is.

The 'Sign in by the link' functionality was released recently in order to make the checkout process for your customers easier, as they will be able to log in by link without using the password. It also brings the following features:
  • Since account creation is not required during checkout, it shall improve conversion in your store (according to different studies, the more streamlined checkout you have, the less abandoned carts you get).
  • Customers profiles will be automatically created, and later can be found in your Ecwid Control Panel – My Sales – Customers section after order placement (previously only registered customers have been listed there)

  • Customers will be able to see their complete order history, including the orders that they have placed prior to account creation, once they register in your store (i.e. via 'Sign In' link in the storefront). All orders will be associated with their email address entered during checkout process.
  • You will be able to place orders manually using Order Editor; such orders will be also reflected in the customer's history.
