In Ecwid the taxes are set up in Ecwid control panel. The taxes are always based on destination zones: the states or cities to which those taxes will be applied. Therefore, in order to set up taxes for different states and cities first of all you need to create corresponding destination zones. After that you need to specify the tax rates for the created zones for the tax rates to be applied according to the customer's address entered on the checkout.
