Speaking Your Language: Ecwid’s New Translation Tool to Help Your Store Go GlobalDec 11, 2014 by Lina Vashurina,
We are proud that nowadays Ecwid is truly a global product: at present Ecwid stores are available in 45 languages including Italian, French, Japan, German, Hebrew, Chinese and many more. This means that our merchants from 175 different countries can reach consumers anywhere in the world in a market of nearly 5.5 billion people! Thanks to the contribution of Ecwid users, the numbers are growing. For example, Arabic translation is just around the corner.
In addition, Ecwid merchants and their customers do not have to worry about the language settings. For consumers from around the world who patronize Ecwid stores, the Ecwid platform detects their web browser settings and automatically switches the store’s language to the preferred one. So you can rest assured your customers from different countries will see your store in their language without any extra work.
