When it comes to managing a store, Shopify has helpful tools for things like inventory, marketing activities, SEO, and orders.

Of course, Shopify provides only its basic features on its lowest-tier plans, but you can extend the default functionality by purchasing additional apps and upgrading your subscription package. Unfortunately, good apps don’t come cheap, which can do some damage to your monthly budget. For example, abandoned cart recovery apps can cost you anywhere from $9 to $29 per month.

With Shopify, you’ll be prompted to set up a whole online store first.

Logging in to Shopify admin, you won’t see any demo products. You will have to create them from scratch. When editing the layout, you will see only grey placeholders, which won’t give you a visual example of how your product page or the main page will look.

However, the process isn’t as complicated as it might seem. Shopify does it best to make onboarding as smooth as possible. You won’t get lost, but it will take you a couple of days to launch the store.
