Sell Your Products on Amazon With Real-Time Inventory Synchronization

At first sight, marketplaces are the rivals of e-commerce stores.

Their earned reputation, a variety of products at attractive prices, top-notch service, and fast and free shipping are just a few benefits of websites like Amazon. For small businesses, they can look like a competition that is impossible to win.

Our news turns challenges into opportunities: If your online store is powered by Ecwid, you can integrate your online store with Amazon and sell your products on this marketplace hands-down. Build your brand on a separate e-commerce website while skimming off the advantages of the Amazon market.

To get started, install the Codisto LINQ app. You can do it if you are subscribed to Ecwid’s Business and Unlimited plans.

With this app, you’ll have the following features at your disposal:

How to create your listing and start selling on Amazon

Before you start to list your products, make sure you sell something that fits Amazon’s categories and meets the requirements of this marketplace.

You should also get to know Amazon’s policies for sellers in advance.

  1. Install the app.
  2. Select your marketplace:

  3. You’ll be forced to log in to Amazon and grant access to Codisto LINQ. If you don’t have an Amazon Seller Account, sign up.

There are two types of Seller Accounts: Individual and Professional. Codisto LINQ requires a Professional account. Visit Amazon’s pricing page to see the difference.

You’ll need this account to manage shipping, enable payments to Amazon with your credit card, get your products approved and if applicable, register your brand on Amazon.

Check out this 6-minutevideo guide on setting up your Amazon Seller Account by StartupBros if this process seems intimidating.

  4. After you comply with the requirements, you’re ready to sell! Now go back to your Ecwid Control panel on the Codisto LINQ page, and start editing your listing. You’ll see your products with their prices, images, and product data synced in the Codisto interface.

Pay attention to the ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) column. ASIN is a 10-character number that Amazon assigns to products to identify them. All the products on Amazon have their ASINs, so if you want to start selling on Amazon, you’ll need to get those for your products.

Codisto will automatically match SKU codes in your Ecwid store to SKU codes in Amazon (the same will happen to UPC/EAN/ISBN). If you products are already there on Amazon, then ASINs will be assigned.

Otherwise, you can manually search by product title to find your ASINs. If your product doesn’t match an existing ASIN, list a new product.

  5. After all the products you want to sell on Amazon get their ASINs, you’re ready to go: enable them in your Codisto interface and start selling.

  6. Furthermore, you can customize your products for Amazon: set up different titles, descriptions, prices, and quantities.

  7. Finally, add search terms, business prices, and bullet descriptions to attract more shoppers.

Start your 30-day free trial and then use the app starting from $29 per month.

Can I sell on other marketplaces with Ecwid?
