Great news for all Ecwid merchants: it is now possible to edit existing orders in Ecwid stores. Merchants can edit purchased items, product options, customer addresses, order emails, shipping totals and more. All you need to do is install the Order Editor Ecwid app from this page:
You may be all too familiar with customers wanting to change an order they have already placed. For example, perhaps your customer wants to order a different size
How to install
In order to install Order Editor, please go to the app page:
The Order Editor app is available at no charge for all users on Business and Unlimited plans. If you’re on the Free, Venture or Silver for Early Adopters plan, please consider upgrading to the Business plan to use this new feature.
Important notice for users on the old Silver plan: if you upgrade to the Business plan, you will still keep your old product limit for early adopters.
How to use
After you install Order Editor, the new Edit Orders page will appear in your control panel. On this page, you will be able to select an order or search your sales by order ID, email, item names or customer name.
Then, select an order and you will be able to:
— Add new items to an order
— Remove items
— Edit existing items: product name, SKU, options, quantity
— Edit customer’s address, name and email
— Add or remove a discount
— Edit names of payment and shipping methods
— Edit order total or shipping fee
Finally, save the changes and they will be applied immediately.
