Here at Ecwid we strive to make setting up and running an online store a rewarding and hassle-free experience. However, some occasions demand that we rise even further above the call of duty to provide small businesses with a little extra help to grow successfully.
Alex Shvartsman is the Brooklyn-based owner of King’s Games, which sells games and collectibles online, at conventions and in his Brooklyn store. Recently, his online store was hit with fraudulent credit card charges and chargebacks, leading his former e-commerce provider to close his store without any notice.
Upon learning of Alex’s story, representatives from PayPal reached out and offered to help him find a better e-commerce solution for his business that would be highly secure and help Kings Games scale gracefully as they grew. PayPal brought in its trusted partner Ecwid for the job. In turn, Ecwid introduced Kings Games to Wix, which quickly built a beautiful website and integrated the feature-rich Ecwid shopping cart for Kings Games, which turns out to be easy, flexible, safe and reliable for Alex to manage.
One of Alex’s favorite aspects of his new Ecwid online store is the ability to set up discount coupons easily:
You can set up very specific coupons and discounts, both by % of sale and a set $ value. You can have coupons be single-use or multiple use, and apply to specific items or categories.
He also really enjoys the simplicity of connecting his PayPal account to Ecwid, and setting up PayPal Express checkout. Overall, Alex has been extremely satisfied with the new site and great experience it provides for his customers.
We were thrilled to collaborate with PayPal and Wix, and to help Alex get back to business with a state-of-the-art website, online store and payments solution. How can we help you?
