It has been a while since our last post. We are back with some great news! Payvment, a leading social commerce platform on Facebook, has reached an agreement with us to transfer all of their 200,000 sellers to Ecwid.

Hello, Payvment sellers

Greetings to all Payvment sellers on behalf of the Ecwid community — welcome aboard! We’re glad to have you join our family of over 250,000 sellers in 174 countries and are here to help you grow your business.

In order to automate your Facebook store setup, we’ve created a tool that transfers your store (including products, orders, and settings) to the Ecwid platform — something no other store-builder can do! Just a few further clicks to grant Facebook permissions and your store will now have the exact list of products on the same Facebook page, minimizing any potential disruption to your business. You will also have access to several new e-commerce features and extend your store to mobile and web.

If you have further questions please review our knowledge base or interact with other sellers on our community forum — we are eager to help!

Social commerce matters

This news has generated considerable excitement in the market. TechCrunch, Social Commerce Today, Vator News, Yahoo! and many other media sources have reported that Payvment sellers can transfer their stores to Ecwid in one click.

Social commerce is a great growth opportunity for SMBs like you and you can take comfort in the fact that the #1 Facebook shopping cart is behind you!

Our data shows strong sales growth via Facebook referrals over the past year. For example, in the holiday shopping period from October through December 2012 Facebook directly referred 8.5 percent of all online purchases! It confirms USA Today’s theory: small businesses know how to succeed on Facebook and can use it as a powerful sales channel.

This is a great period in Ecwid’s evolution. As the leader in social e-commerce, we will continue to innovate and chart the future of this industry together with our community of sellers. Take this opportunity to ride the social commerce wave, open your store on Facebook, and see your sales grow!
