So now I wish to offer an opportunity for my many fans and friends to buy my art. I often travel, so please be not surprised if I may ship from different places, differnet homes in at least two continents. Since I have many friends and places, you must know I am a traveller at heart. Do not be afraid to get in touch with me - by email or phone, I am here for you. It is easy.

Why Choose my Art?

I am a simple Person. Painter, thinker, poet, humaniterian. I live and love my art.  She is here to share, to show the beauty, the love. By creating my art, I tell you the story of my life, of the Sea, a fishermans tale and the live of my beloved cats. Is there more to say? Every Art needs a home, every Artist needs to survive. It is my deepest joy to enlighten your home with my stories, my light that I draw directly from deep within my heart.

If you buy directly from the Artist, you support not only the Artist himself (for which we are grateful) but also this world, which so dearly needs to be seen through the eyes of an Artist. It is the Artist, which will give (his) Soul for enlightenment, in this enabling us all to survive in times of turmoil and despair.

He is the Bread and Butter, the bridge between cultures, providing us with language that still reaches out when words no longer function.

My motivation? For me Art is just a way of living. I can not live any other way. It's simple. I think a lot about colors, but it seems to me that I do not understand them. Therefore, I am often surprised myself when I end up loving the result.  This is my desire; To share what I love.

About: The Artist, Mahmoud Mahmudzade

Mahmoud Mahmudzade

Artist, Store owner, Architect, Poet.

What can I tell you? I am an Artist who was born on 27th of July 1964. My childhood was spend in Algeria, where my father worked, but since 1978 I live in Baku. I like that Baku is located on the shores of the Caspian Sea, where I spend a lot of time. I love to paint her, often I take photos that are related to maritime themes. The Sea is my mistress and I grow never tired of her. No, there are no other artists in my family. My daughter is a musician, and although she has beautiful performances, she did not follow my footsteps. My parents are not with us for a long time. My father was an engineer and my mother was an economist. I paint from 3 years old. Even though I wanted to become a doctor as a child, everyone around me knew that I would be an artist. After admission to art school my life entwined forever with the profession of an artist. After membership at Baku Art Center, I began to participate in exhibitions and acquired skills in creation of expositions, exhibitions and gained more organizational skills. I made friends who I respect as professionals and whose friendship I really treasure. My first teacher was Rasim Babayev, he is also one of the most respected people in my life. We were friends, despite the age difference until he died. Communication with this man always inspired me. I like many artists. It is very difficult to select some of them, each one made an influence on my experiments in painting and drawing, still I always wanted to find my own way, my own style. I am a Painter. I am not a critic, and never thought much about what my style is or may become. If I had the opportunity to talk with a good art critic, I'd love to have forwarded this question to him! I am inspired by the environment around me – everything that I see and think about. This can be a room where I stay, or a fisherman's cottage, where I spent the night. This may be my cat, or the flying bird, my romantic thoughts, the sea, my travels to other cities in Algeria, where I grew up... and much more. I have my own technique of working with pastels, which really fascinates me. And so I hand over to you, to see, to feel, to love what I produce - I hope.
