how can i apply a discount to my entire stock other than changing each price seperately?

To offer a site-wide discount you can use the discount coupons feature in Ecwid: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/24739561/Discount-coupons . Just create the coupon and offer it on the site with open text notification.
