Default Option to Input Quantity of Items Per Size or Color

I offer custom t-shirts and the prices change according to how many t-shirts you get and how many colors you have printed as well as the sizes.

Im having trouble trying to figure out how to design the cart with that in mind. My main problem is that my customers will most likely purchase more than one of each size. For example:

Youth Size: Qty 6

Adult Sizes: Qty 12

Is there a way to allow multiple quantities without having a customer go back forth to the store to add additional quantities? Something similar to this store: http://www.brokenarrowwear.com/quote...

Thanks for any help!

Hmm, what do you think of this solution?

That looks great. What did you do that? It would be tedious if a person orders a lot of t-shirts though because I would have to create an option for each t-shirt. For example, 1 t-shirt vs. 1000, without increments. Please HELP.......

How to implement this:

- hide the base price using custom CSS and make it zero
- hide the Qty field and label
- add new product options with necessary values and quantities.

It isn't an ideal workaround though, but it may do the trick.

Default Same qty issue per item

How are you? Thanks for offering this shopping cart. We use it with wordpress. So, awesome!

I am not a CSS person, so I am finding your past solution to my particular problem a bit hard. Please advise if you have a new way of putting in quantity per line item. The site I run is a bra site. Each bra size needs to indicate the inventory qty.

I just upgraded and hoped that this would help with this situation. Please advise.

Do you want to track inventory per each option or allow purchasing the product in different options with a single click?

Where would I find this custom CSS to edit? Which file, where?

Also, I would need to track inventory.

Thanks

Okay I think I found the template css - I created and activated my new theme. But how do I do your instructions

- hide the base price using custom CSS and make it zero
- hide the Qty field and label
- add new product options with necessary values and quantities.

This workaround will not allow to track inventory, unfortunately.

Default Tracking inventory according to size

How would I track my inventory by size? I offer t-shirts in 4 sizes, and each has a different qty. I need to be able to input a different qty for each size (per style) and track each size in my inventory. Is there a way to do this?

Yes, this is already possible with products combinations. Combinations are derived from product options and allow a fine-grained control over your inventory. So, for the product, that needs such detailed stock control, you need to create its options first (sizes, color etc), then create the product combinations based on those options. Now, as you have combinations, you can control the stock quantity of each combination separately.

Product Combinations allow not only separate stock quantities control, but also separate weights, SKUs and images. The combinations feature is only available to Silver plan accounts. More on combinations and other new features of Ecwid 7.0 here: http://www.ecwid.com/blog/ecwid-news...
