Default Adding products programmatically

Hi guys, is there any chance this type of API will be implemented soon?
Here's business case:
Webmaster uses other shopping cart with 2,000 products and he is unhappy and wants to move to ECWID.
Currently he has to manually recreate 2,000 products at ECWID side which is a show stopper.
If above API would be implemented - people would flock and flood to ECWID from all other mediocre shopping carts just because ECWID is great and importing products from other systems would be auto-super-easy.

Unfortunately, the said API to manipulate products is still to be implemented (please, vote for this idea to get notified of our progress on it: http://ideas.ecwid.com/forums/22031-... ), but to recreate 2000 products one can mostly use the existing import features.
