Is there any way to have the price of a product flexible (unspecified) so the buyer can "name your price" (effectively "donate") -- ideally with a minimum? This is available on the Bandcamp.com service (see attached screen snapshot) for musicians that would be great on Ecwid (maybe it's there and I've missed it to date, sorry for the query if that's the case!). PayPal has a "donate" option too but hardly an e-commerce store a la Ecwid. THANKS!

I've now read complete Thread (somehow "donate" search didn't bring this up for me?), very useful, but it appears only way to handle the donate is via radio buttons with pre-set amounts.

Bandcamp has much more flexible option with "name your price" with minimum, and they highly recommend using "name your price" as proven technique to improve $-generating prospects based on vast experience with music sales. http://bandcamp.com/faq#pricing_performance

So radio buttons pre-set price options will work, but not as slick as this.

Just a suggestion for future feature that would be very much appreciated by many, esp non-profits but also obviously music stores too based on Bandcamp experience, I'm sure!

I'm totally agree that donation and/or user-entered price is very useful functionality. It definitely will be added in Ecwid in the future. Please, vote for this idea here: http://ideas.ecwid.com/forums/22031-...-entered-price and we will email you when it is released.
