Default Downloading Problem

Hello my name is Chris Rathje. I am a writer who thanks to my friend just added ecwid to my site to sell my first ebook. Ecwid looks amazing, but I am having problems fully using it.

My ebook is already uploaded on ecwid, but when using 2checkout I don't see how people are able to download the file.

I solution to my problem would be greatly appreciated

Thanks everyone for your time.

Only the best, dreams come true

Hi Chris,

A customer will get a link to a file by email, as soon as his order gets the "Accepted" status.
Also he will be able to see this link in the order history.

If you don't get an email, first check the 2Checkout is configured properly. Did you perform these steps:

To use 2Checkout Instant Notification Service, perform the following steps:
1) Log in to your 2Checkout account.
2) Go to the Account->Notifications page.
3) Set the Global URL to: http://app.ecwid.com/2checkout/93166
4) Check the 'Enable All Notifications' option.

Default Is quicker downloading possible?

I applied all the changes from the above post and had some friends test it for me. They have received one email, but not the other getting full credit card approval and therefore have not received the email with the link.

Is there anyway to provide an quicker download before credit card authorization.

I trust people and I want them to have access to my product.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your time, dreams come true!

Default Link Email

My friend has still not received the email with the link in it. I totally understand this might be human error on my part, but I'm just totally ignorant on the topic and I need help.

Is there anyway the download can happen immediately or at least automated so I don't need to worry about this in the future.

Thank you for your time, dreams come true!

Well, usually files/e-goods are sent only if an order has been placed successfully and Ecwid follows this way.
If a payment gateway is set up correctly, all of your customers will get files immediately after order placing.

Try the following steps:

1. Go to the Payment page.
2. Enable the "Demo Payment" option.
3. Place a test order using this method and check if you get a file.
