Default Can't see e-good orders in the sales tab (Google Checkout)

I'm using google checkout as the payment portal and while I'm getting notifications from Google that people are buying the egoods, I'm not seeing any sales recorded in the sales section. Please help!

Please try these steps:

1. Log in to the Google Checkout backend.
2. On the Orders page, click Settings, then click Integration.
2. Review the error messages under Integration Issues. What do you see there?

Did you set API callback URL there?

Thank you! I didn't have the right API URL in there. Now that I have that fixed, is there anyway to view lifetime sales from the past or will it only record the ones going forward?

Glad to hear you found the exact cause of the issue.

Unfortunately old orders will not appear in the Ecwid control panel, they will be displayed in the Google Checkout backend only. However new orders will appear in both systems now.

I have discovered another issue I'm hoping to get your help with. When I set the API for ECWID it knocked out the API that Freshbooks was using to report orders to us. We have two portals for orders. Our digital orders are handled through our store with you and our writing orders are handled through Freshbooks. Both of these report to Google Checkout. Is there a way I can have the orders still show up in ECWID sales if Google has the API callback URL as Freshbooks? I just want to be able to track the digital orders in the ECWID and be able to see email addresses of our buyers.

This is for Scout Consultants. I'm just on our other store at the moment. With the paid subscription.

Google Checkout does not automatically redirect visitors back to your store once they have completed the steps on their payment site. That redirection back to the shop is oftenly used by many payment solutions to pass the information about the results of the payment back to the store. This is not the case with Google Checkout, so the only way for Ecwid to know that the customer has not abandoned the payment and actually completed it is the callback to the store. Ecwid will release the digital goods download links as soon as the order gets the 'Chargeable' or 'Accepted' status. Chargeable status is achieved when the Google Checkout makes its callback to Ecwid; if there is no callback, there is no automatic status change.

The way to solve this is to make a special server-side script, that will receive the callback from Google Checkout and resend it to the endpoints of Ecwid and Freshbooks at the same time. This way both system will be notified of all sales, no matter where they were made. This will result in excessive notifications to both systems, but at least Ecwid is ready to handle the notifications of the orders not found in it.
