Default Shipping weight help

I've been trying to set up several user defined shipping rates using different weights but Ecwid keeps rounding my weight amounts up.

For example one shipping option I've set up is £3.50 for anything weighing 0-0.249kg and another is £5.00 for anything weighing 0.250-0.499kg. Ecwid then on it's own rounds up the 0.249kg option to 0.250kg so that when I get to the shopping cart for an item I've added weighing 0.250kg to test it I get presented with 2 shipping price options, both the £3.50 and £5.00 option as obviously that weight now falls into 2 price bands.

How can stop this from happening?

The shop can been seen at the address below but there is only 1 item availble to buy with the shipping examples mentioned above and that's the 'Tidal Forest' image in the North Uist gallery. Just select the 10"x10" print option to get the 0.250kg weight.

Thanks
Darren

Hello Darren,

Yes, Ecwid rounds weight values up to two decimals. As far as I understand, your products are typically under 1kg, so, I think, you should use grams as a weight unit in your store. It would be more convenient. If you decide to do so, you will need to change your shipping weight limits accordingly (0 - 249g, 250-499g). You can change the weight unit in your control panel (System settings -> General -> Formats & Units).

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Ah that would explain it. Will change it to grams and go from there. Thanks for the quick reply.

Cheers
