Default Orders API on a custom Ecwid installation

I'm working with a custom installation of Ecwid and was asked if we can integrate the Ecwid Orders API in order to for accounting software to access the store data. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Jen

Thanks,
Jen,

Yes, it is possible. Order API can be used with all paid Ecwid accounts, however the "API" page can be hidden for you, if you use account created by some of our channel partners.

Send me a private message and I will provide you with your API key.

Both T-hub and MKP Software's Ecwid-QuickBooks Exporter integrate into QuickBooks.
contact sales@mkpsoftware.com if you have another accounting package you would like to have integrated.

You need to create a program that reads that information and converts it into a format that your accounting system can import.

If you are unsure of how to do that. talk to the ecwid devs or PM me if you would like to discuss options.

API stands for Application Programming Interface. Thus, API is utilized via programming - creating your own program. Order API allows to retrieve information about your orders in Ecwid. Then the program you create can interpret that information the way you need it or just convert it into the other format and store in some particular storage.

API by itself is like a water tap. It does nothing but provides you with what is inside it. You can use those contents in various ways. It is just a source, but not exactly a ready tool.

If you need professional custom programming services to get what you want, you can turn to our helpful community members like mkpsoftware or our skilled friends from Qualiteam.

Most probably, you refer to using the API on the Yola accounts. I have sent you a personal message regarding that.
