Default Categories font colour

I have tried over and over again to load categories to my site..it looks horrid!
And I can't seem to change the font colour of the categories..they're the same colour as the background.
I have added the coding from here: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/15853272/...

Nothing changes

My shop is: http://www.mommalicious.co.za/shopal...

Okay I have tried to decrease the spaces between the category pictures and the category name...and its not working either??
I followed these instructions..
http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3598

I have also tried to add horizontal category tabs..and thats not working either..
The only thing I've managed to do is change is the number of categories are in the grid view :P

When I look at other shops they just have categories on the main page not both..

I have checked your store, and, as far as I can see, most of your products are not assigned to any categories, thus they are displayed on the store root page. Please refer to the following article for instructions on how to assign products to categories:

http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/25129559/...

At the moment you have only one category, that contains products in it ("Clothing"), but this category is disabled in your store, thus it is not displayed in the store front. Actually, as far as I can see, all the categories are disabled. Thus none of them are displayed. Thus unfortuantly we cannot check their font settings and the rest issues related to category icons and names layout.

If you would like to have the categories displayed in the store root, please assign all your products to the corresponding categories, as described in the article above, and enable the categories (Ecwid control panel → Catalog → Categories → click on the category you want to enable -> General -> click [Enable] in the Availability field).
