Default Setting up package type

I ship all my products using Australia Post, so only need one zone. But I have two package types: regular package and poster tubes.

How do I set up postage so that my posters are put in different packages than my other products?

ALso, several posters would fit in one poster tube, so I don't want to set up a fixed price for a poster, as two posters would cost the same as one.

Thanks

James

Ecwid itself doesn't calculate the real-time rates. It just sends the information about the order - i.e. weight, destination and origin addresses - to the shipping carrier's server. Then it gets a response with the rates and show them to customer. Therefore, you are not able to affect on this method appearance.

In order to allow your customer to choose the package type I suggest you to create two user-defined shipping methods, where depending on the order’s weight you will be able to define, which products has been ordered and what package should be used.
