Default Buying multiple options of the same item

Hello,

I've set up a store and added a T-Shirt with three options — Small, Medium and Large.

I then go to the store and add the medium T-Shirt to the basket — no problem.

I also want to add the same T-Shirt in the Small option — but the store tells me it's already in the basket.

Is it possible to buy two or more options of the same item?

Thanks.

If you change the selection of your option, you can put that other option into the cart too, separately from the previously bought item.

I'm using the free version — I think I need the paid for version for this to work. Can you confirm?

Thanks.

The ability to add different product options to the cart is available for all Ecwid users. Once you have added the product with one option, you can select another option and click “Add more” button. After that product with another option also will be added to the cart.

On the cart page products with different options will be shown as a separate products. I have checked your site and it works properly there.

Thanks Maya, I never spotted the 'Add more' button and I wonder whether that may be an are of the interface which could be improved like this (highlighted bold):

1) When the bag is empty, an item has a big green button which says 'Add to Bag';
2) You add to bag and the button says 'Continue Shopping';
3) You change option and the button says 'Add to Bag' again;

or

4) The button always says 'Add to Bag' and there's a separate 'Continue Shopping' button.

Just an idea.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Currently, you can change “Add more” and ”Continue button” styles as you needed by adding custom CSS code in your CSS theme. You can make “Add more” button more noticeable, change it’s color, size, etc. and reduce “Continue button” size and make it not so bright.
